With reference to UGC circular no D.O.No.91-3/2021 (GS) dated 7th December 2021 and IQAC initiative, the college conducted an online guest session on 'Role, Rights & Responsibilities of Women at Workplace' by Dr. Ragini P Khubalkar, Assistant Professor of Law at Maharashtra National Law University Nagpur on 20th December 2021 for the students and faculty/ staff members of our college. 163 participants attended the online session (https://meet.google.com/agm-fsta-hit).
The guest speaker discussed equal treatment for all in society with humanity, rules & regulations to protect women in society along with every woman's right to be protected. She also explained about awareness on gender biased issues and discussed the background for the creation of the Vishakha committee along with the various laws for the protection of women.
