The Partition of 1947 tore apart families, homes, and histories, leaving lasting scars. On 14th August 2025, NSS & ELC, MMCC observed Partition Horrors Remembrance Day to honor the victims and promote unity. ELC Coordinator Dr Punam Shinde Shinde & SDC coordinator Asst. Prof. Snehal Borkar addressed students, highlighting the importance of remembrance and peace, while NSS Programme Officer Asst. Prof. Dasharath Gavit delivered the vote of thanks. πŸ•Š️✨

🩸 Blood Donation Camp – A Tribute to Service 🩸

On 14th August 2025, a Blood Donation Camp was organised at MMM Deccan Campus in collaboration with Janakalyan Raktapedhi to honour the memory of Late Shri Vilasraoji Deshmukh — Ex-Chief Minister of Maharashtra, former Union Minister, and Ex-President of Marathwada Mitramandal — as a mark of respect for his lifelong dedication to public service.


The camp was inaugurated by Hon. Prin. Shri B. G. Jadhav, Executive President of Marathwada Mitra Mandal, witnessed 66 students along with several staff members coming forward to donate blood, thereby supporting the life-saving mission and encouraging community participation.

 πŸŒΏ Mega Tree Plantation Drive – Hanuman Hills, Pune 🌳


On 7th August 2025, the National Service Scheme (NSS), Students Development Cell (SDC), and the Green Club, in collaboration with Deccan Police Station, successfully organised a Mega Tree Plantation Drive at Hanuman Hills, behind Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Deccan Gymkhana.

πŸ”ΈParticipation from Police Inspector Prasad Raut, 9 police personnel, 18 faculty members, and 53 NSS volunteers
