Girl Students of SYBBA(CA) generated awareness on appropriate sanitary waste management as part of cleanliness and health issues related to women's hygiene. They visited schools and explained the importance of 'Red Dot' that informs the waste collectors of sanitary waste.

Savitribai Phule Pune University had started  Best Director of physical education and sports award from the academic year 2021-2022 and it is a matter of pride to all of us that *Prof Dr M R Gaikwad is the first recipient of this prestigious award* 

Prof.Dr M R Gaikwad has been working as director of physical education and sports in our college from 1987. He is sincere, honest and hard working teacher and has worked as a vice chairman, Secretary and treasurer on the executive committee of Pune City Gymkhana and Sports dept of Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has contributed towards many sports and social activities  organised by various universities and social organisations. His devotion,  performance and ability of accepting various roles and responsibilities , as a Selection committee member, Team manager and guide  on various zonal, college and university level sports activities, made it possible to him to achieve this grand success.

Resume Crafting and Interview Skills

Department of Commerce had organised a webinar on  "Resume Crafting and Interview Skills" on Monday, 27th January 2022 at 9.00 am .  

The eminent speakers were Mr.Hitesh Sharma and Mr.Ninad Sonawane of VIP Applicants. Both the speakers emphasised on precise resume drafting and how AI can be used to enhance the accuracy and correct drafting of the resume. How to face the interview and the Expectations from the employers in covid 19 situation was also discussed. The webinar concluded by Question and answer session. In all 249 students participated in the webinar.

Awareness on fundamental rights and duties of Indian citizens

  

Today the students of Department of Business Administration on account of  celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav had conducted an awareness campaign in Goodluck Chowk; FC road regarding the fundamental rights and duties of Indian citizens; the students were accompanied by the faculty members, police, press and media. 

Poster Competition : “Girl:Saviour in Turbulent Times”

Bharat ki Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initative of the Government of India to commemorate 75 glorious years of Progressive India and its rich history,diverse population, magnificent culture and great achievements. 

To celebrate this Mahotsav, on the occasion of “National Girl Child Day”, Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s College of Commerce, Pune conducted Online Poster Competition on “Girl:Saviour in Turbulent Times”, on Monday, 24 January 2022. Total twenty seven students participated in this online poster competition. The judges, Dr. Jyoti M. Gaikwad, Senior Faculty, Jr.college Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s College of Commerce, Pune and Mrs. Revati Naik, Faculty Member, Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s Shankarrao Chavan Law College, Pune; were impressed with the creativity and effort put in by students. They speciallly mentioned that the participation from boys and girls for this competition was a success in itself. The winners of this competition were :

आज दिनांक 12 जानेवारी 2022 रोजी राजमाता जिजाऊ आणि स्वामी विवेकानंद या थोर विभूतींची जयंती महाविद्यालयात मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरा करण्यात आली. याप्रसंगी महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉक्टर देवीदास गोल्हार यांनी प्रतिमांचे पूजन व पुष्पहार अर्पण करून अभिवादन केले तसेच राजमाता जिजाऊ आणि स्वामी विवेकानंद यांच्या जीवनावर प्रकाश टाकला. तसेच प्रा. एडके सर, डॉ. संदीप अनपट, प्राध्यापक सुशील गंगणे, डॉ. ज्योती गायकवाड मॅडम इत्यादींनी या प्रसंगी आपले मनोगत व्यक्त केले. आणि राजमाता जिजाऊ यांचे योगदान व स्वामी विवेकानंद यांचे विचार याप्रसंगी मांडले. 

Potted Plant Stands from discarded furniture

College promotes and practices 'Reduce Reuse Recycle' for best practices. This video shows the result of converting iron from discarded furniture to a stand for keeping the potted plants. 

 

Basics of Environment Awareness

As part of *Basics of Environment Awareness* course and Gender sensitisation, a group of SYBBA (CA) Girls went to two schools to  create awareness about handling of  sanitary waste and its segregation.

They distributed  papers bags and instructed school girls to mark them with a visible red dot so that the waste pickers know that it is sanitary waste and that it has to be treated differently.

दिनांक 31 डिसेंबर 2021 रोजी आनंदवन व्यसनमुक्ती व पुनर्वसन केंद्र, पुणे शहर पोलीस, पुणे शहर वाहतूक नियंत्रण कक्ष, कात्रज डेअरी आणि आपल्या मराठवाडा मित्र मंडळाचे वाणिज्य महाविद्यालयाचे राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजनेचे एकक यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने 'दारू नको, दूध प्या-मानवतेचा बोध घ्या' या जनजागृतीपर उपक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आलेले आहे. सदर कार्यक्रम गुडलक चौक येथे दुपारी 04 ते 6:00 या वेळेत आयोजित करण्यात आलेला आहे. महाविद्यालयाचे निवडक 40 विद्यार्थी या उपक्रमात सक्रियपणे सहभागी होणार आहेत. पथनाट्य, रॅली, मानवी साखळी, जनजागृतीपर विविध घोषणा इत्यादी माध्यमातून सरत्या वर्षाला निरोप देऊन नवीन वर्षाचे स्वागत करण्याचा हा एक अनोखा उपक्रम आहे...

Guidance session for Revised AQAR AY 2020-21

 

Dr. Shubhangi Ramaswamy from MBA Department, MMCOE, guided all faculty members on the revised AQAR Guidelines for AY 2020-21 on 3rd December 2021. The session was attended by 16 faculty members.

Guest lecture on "Career in Indian Air Force"

Guest lecture on "Career in Indian Air Force" was organized on 29.12.2021 in Dnyaneshwar Hall. The Guest speaker was Retired Air Force Officer Wing Commander P.C.Kalia. 84 students attended the session. The program was compered by Asst.Prof Sushil Gangane. Introduction of the guest speaker was given by Dr.Shilpa kabra. Dr.Ashwini Parkhi proposed the vote of thanks. The program was  conducted by Department of Commerce under Competitive Exam Centre. We extend our sincere thanks to Principal Dr.Devidas Golhar sir who has encouraged and motivated us to conduct career guidance session in the field of Defence.

आज दिनांक 3 जानेवारी 2022 रोजी महाविद्यालयात राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजनेच्या वतीने ज्ञानज्योती सावित्रीबाई फुले यांची 191 वी जयंती मोठया उत्साहात साजरा करण्यात आली. महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. देवीदास गोल्हार यांनी सावित्रीबाई फुले यांच्या प्रतिमेस पुष्पहार अर्पण करून अभिवादन केले. तसेच विद्यार्थ्याना मार्गदर्शन केले. प्रा. एडके सर, डॉ. संदीप अनपट यांनी आपल्या मनोगतातून सावित्रीबाईंच्या कार्यावर प्रकाश टाकला. तसेच डॉ. शेख सर, डॉ. अश्विनी पारखी, डॉ. शिल्पा काब्रा, प्रा. अमोल चौधरी, प्रा. प्रमोद सपकाळ, प्रा. रेणुका तलवार इत्यादी कार्यक्रमास उपस्थित होते. महाविद्यालयातील 35 विदयार्थी याप्रसंगी उपस्थित होते. कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन प्रा. प्रवीण कड यांनी केले.
