Rangoli Competition

 On 18-11-2024 the Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) of Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College Pune organized a Rangoli Competition to promote voter awareness. 

E-Waste and Plastic waste collection

 Appreciable work was done by our NSS volunteers in the mega drive conducted today, Sunday, Oct 20. Our NSS students collected E-waste and plastic waste from apartments, working in five teams. 20 students participated in the collaborative activities with 'Pehel 2024'.

Diya Decoration and Greeting Card making competition

 The Department of Commerce had organized Diya Decoration and Greeting Card making competition on 10th October 2024. The objective for conducting The competition was to promote " Vocal for Local " initiative and to showcase The creativity and teamwork of the students. 

Students from various departments of the college activity participated in the activity. 

The beautifully decorated diyas by our students will be given to Maira Yuva Foundation a NGO run by Mr. Sanket Deshpande with the motto, " Ek panti tichya saathi" for the betterment and sustainable livelihood of the children taken care by the NGO. 

The activity was coordinated by- Dr. Shilpa Kabra, Asst. Prof. Yogita Renuse and Asst. Prof. Kashmira Jain. 

 

Mumba international film festival

 MMCC Communication and Journalism department have participated in the Mumba international film festival which is going on at the National Film Archives of India auditorium Pune. 

80 Films from 20 contries have been shortlisted.

Our department students are official volunteers of the film festivals.

Jallosh 2024

 MMCC showcased its artistic and musical talents at Jallosh 2024, the youth festival organized by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) at DY Patil, Pimpri with participation from 69 colleges, MMCC's students left a lasting impression.

MMCC achieved notable success in the following categories:

1. *Fine Arts (Collage) – 2nd Prize won by Ms. Payal Shinde,SYBSc(CS)*

2. *Music (Indian Classical Instrument Non-Precussion (Swarvadya) Flute) – 2nd Prize won by Hritik Gujar, SYBCOM.*

  

The college's participation across 21 different categories reflects its commitment to nurturing creativity. These accomplishments stand as a testament to the hard work and dedication of MMCC's talented students. *Prof. Meenal Kabra & Dr. Shilpa Kabra* accompanied the students throughout the Festival.

 Department of Business Administration organized *Best Out of Waste Competition* Yesterday. We witnessed some fantastic, innovative creations from our students.

Induction of Priyadarshini Yuvati Manch

 The induction / inaugural session of *Priyadarshini Yuvati Manch* was held on Thursday 29 th August 2024, for AY 2024 - 25 . The session was inaugurated by  Actress and Dialogue writer for many famous Marathi serials *Chitra Gadgil* who is also our alumni  and  Radio City *RJ Teju - Tejashri Fulsundar* .    Both the guest gave valuable insight of balancing with college life and it's co- curricular activities and career achievements , and also focussed

 the  importance of reading   which plays an important role in their professional field. It was an interactive session in which students questions regarding these two career options  were answered by giving fruitful suggestions . 

I sincerely thank Principal sir  for his continuous support and guidance , HOD Prof  Edke sir  and all my colleagues.
