Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College of Commerce has been celebrating the *Samata Saptah* under *Equal Opportunity Cell*  between 11 April to 14 April 2024 to  commemorate the life and times of our great leaders *Mahatma Jyotirao Phule & Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar on their birth anniversaries* as per the guidelines received from Directorate of Higher Education and Directorate of Social Justice and Welfare, Govt. of Maharashtra. Everyone, students & staff members are requested to join the events happening in consonant with this.

In this context, the college has been organising the events to pay our respects to great personalities by remembering their struggles to emancipate the downtrodden classes, women, peasants, and workers from age old evil social practices and stigmas to achieve the liberty, equality, and justice for all assuring the sense of integrity and fraternity among the citizens of republic. The college believes in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's vision that true democracy cannot be achieve only with political liberty but it will be realised through attaining social and economic freedom to the masses. We are displaying brief description about the life and times of these leaders on digital display, organising the ceremonies to pay tributes, and essay competition in due course of time.

आपली मराठी भाषा

 दिनांक २७ फेब्रुवारी मराठी भाषा गौरव दिनाच्या निमित्ताने 'आपली मराठी भाषा' या विषयावर व्याख्यान आयोजित केले होते. प्रा. डॉ. सुजाता शेणई व प्रा. संतोष शेणई यांनी मराठी भाषेतील विविध पैलू, शब्दांचे अर्थ व महत्व उलगडून दाखविले. महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. देविदास गोल्हार यांनी अध्यक्षीय भाषणात मराठी भाषा आणि शब्द सामर्थ्य यावर आपले विचार मांडले. याप्रसंगी प्रा. विशाखा वाघ, प्रा. मीनल काबरा, प्रा. स्वप्नील कांबळे, प्रा. गुरमीत कौर यांनी आपली मनोगते व्यक्त केली. कार्यक्रमाचे समन्वय व सूत्रसंचालन प्रा. डॉ. आश्विनी कुलकर्णी यांनी केले. प्राचार्यांनी या कार्यक्रमा द्वारे आणखी विधायक स्वरूपात भाषा समृद्धीचे व संवर्धनाचे उपाययोजन करणे गरजेचे आहे हे अधोरेखित करून सर्वांना शुभेच्छा दिल्या.

In a very short span of time everyone took responsibility on their shoulders to make this alumni meet successful.

MMCC got talent

 प्रत्येक शैक्षणिक वर्षात किमान एकदातरी शिक्षकांना आनंद मिळावा या उद्देशाने बी. बी. ए. विभाग वेगवेगळ्या कार्यक्रमांचे आयोजन करत असते. सतत गेली तीन वर्षे आपण अश्या कार्यक्रमांचा आनंद घेत आहोत. याही वर्षी याच धर्तीवर एक वेगळा कार्यक्रम घेण्यात आला ज्यात सर्व शिक्षकांनी भरभरून सहभाग नोंदवला व विविध कलागुणांचे सादरीकरण केले. आपल्यामध्ये असणाऱ्या विविध कला सादर करण्याची संधी सर्वांना मिळावी व कामाच्या व्यापातून थोडासा विसावा मिळावा हा या कार्यक्रमाचा उद्देश्य होता. नक्कीच तो उद्देश्य साध्य झाला याची पोच पावती सर्व उपस्थितांना कार्यक्रमादरम्यानच मिळाली. विशेष म्हणजे वर्षातून एकदा होणारा हा कार्यक्रम महिन्यातून एकदा व्हावा असा आग्रह ही बऱ्याच शिक्षकांनी केला. कार्यक्रम शिक्षकांचा असल्या कारणाने त्यात 'Teacher's Forum' चा ही सहभाग व्हावा ही इच्छा होती. Teacher's forum coordinator प्रा.स्वप्नील कांबळे यांचे आम्हा सर्वांना सहकार्य लाभले. 

कार्यक्रमाची शोभा वाढली ती माननीय प्राचार्यांचा उपस्थिती मुळे. सरांची सर्वांना पूर्णवेळ साथ लाभली यामुळे सर्वांचाच आनंद नक्कीच द्विगुणित झाला. प्राचार्यांच्या परफॉर्मन्स ने सर्वांचे लक्ष वेधले, अत्यंत सुंदर सादरीकरण सर्व सहभागी शिक्षकांनी केले. इतकेच नव्हे तर बऱ्याच शिक्षकांनी शेवटच्या क्षणाला उत्स्फूर्त प्रतिसाद नोंदवला व कार्यक्रमाचा आस्वाद घेतला.

राष्ट्रीय मतदान दिन कार्यक्रम" आणि पारितोषिक वितरण समारंभ

दिनांक 24 जानेवारी 2024रोजी  मुख्य निवडणूक अधिकारी कार्यालय, महाराष्ट्र राज्य, मुंबई आणि जिल्हा निवडणूक अधिकारी कार्यालय, मुंबई शहर व मुंबई उपनगर यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने "राष्ट्रीय मतदान दिन कार्यक्रम" आणि पारितोषिक वितरण समारंभ मुंबई येथील जयहिंद महाविद्यालय येथे आयोजित करण्यात आला होता,या कार्यक्रमाला श्री श्रीकांत देशपांडे मुख्य निवडणूक अधिकारी, महाराष्ट्र राज्य,इतर मान्यवर तसेच महाराष्ट्रातून पुरस्कारासाठी निवड झालेले जिल्हाधिकारी,उपजिल्हाधिकारी, इतर अधिकारी, शिक्षक,विद्यार्थी उपस्थित होते. महाविद्यालयातील  निवडणूक साक्षरता मंडळ चे "उत्कृष्ट नोडल अधिकारी" (राज्यस्तरीय उत्कृष्ट संपर्क अधिकारी पुरस्कार 2024)  म्हणून  गौरविण्यात आले.

 The Bharat Bharti meeting was attended on 21-January 2024 by Prof. Rahul Gande, Dr. Pranita Raskar and Prof. Gurmeetkaur Rajpal at Modern Highschool Marathi medium, Ganeshkhind.

Academic and Administrative Audit AAA for 2022-2023 and 2021- 2022

MMCC has successfully completed  Academic and Administrative Audit AAA for 2022-2023 and 2021- 2022.

This endevour has been possible under the guidance and vision of Principal, Dr. Devidas Golhar Sir and IQAC Co-ordinator , Dr. Swapna Kolhatkar along with the initiative and efforts of AAA Committee including Dr. Ashwini Parkhi,

Dr. Sandip Anpat and Team successfully secured their second international patent, marking another milestone in their journey of innovation. This achievement is a testament to their collective efforts and the power of collaboration.

                                                                                                       

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Women Empowerment, and Higher Education

 The Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, in collaboration with Savitribai Phule Pune University, organized a one-day State-Level Women Empowerment Conference on October 23. The event, titled "United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Women Empowerment, and Higher Education," was attended by more than 1,300 women professors from various colleges in the state of Maharashtra. The conference took place at Savitribai Phule Pune University and was graced by the presence of Mr. Chandrakant Patil, Minister of Higher and Technical Education of Maharashtra, and Dr Neelam Gorhe, Deputy Chairperson of the Maharashtra Legislative Council.

The conference comprised six sessions during the day, where experts from various fields provided guidance to the women teachers. Informative discussions covered topics such as the National Education Policy (NEP), Women's Security, Women Empowerment, Women Entrepreneurship, and Sustainable Development. Dr. Punam Shinde , Asst. Prof. Roshni Gupta, Asst. Prof. Vishakha Wagh , Dr. Pranita Raskar and Asst. Prof. Rushika Kinjawadekar attended this program.
