𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ⏰⚔️

⚜️The Department of Commerce successfully organized a Debate Competition on Thursday, 21st August 2025, providing a platform for students to showcase their critical thinking💭 and public speaking skills.🗣️


🔖The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐢, who encouraged students to engage in informed discussions and develop a balanced perspective on contemporary issues.

The competition featured two topics:
📌“Is 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐡?” and

📌“𝐕𝐢𝐤𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒: 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲?”.

🎯The debates highlighted diverse perspectives on the role of technology in financial transactions and India’s developmental aspirations, sparking meaningful conversations among participants and the audience.✨

💫There was an excellent student response for the competition, making the event lively and engaging. Students from B.Com and M.Com enthusiastically participated, presenting well-researched arguments and engaging in interactive exchanges that reflected their analytical abilities.

✨The event not only enhanced the students’ communication and reasoning skills but also inspired them to stay informed and proactive about national and economic issues.🌏🗞️

🎊Heartily congratulations 🥳🎉 to the participants and the winners for the competition Shrushti Kawade and Gautam Hiran , and best speakers in the competition Ayush Randive and Varun Mastargol.

🌿✨ 𝐄𝐜𝐨-𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ✨🌿

The Green Club successfully organized a Workshop on Eco-Friendly Ganpati Making and Nirmalya Collection on Monday, 18th August 2025, in collaboration with NGO Nisarg Sevak. The initiative aimed to spread awareness about sustainable practices and promote environmental consciousness.


Resource person Ms. Aditi Tupe, a member of Nisarg Sevak, demonstrated the scientific process of creating compost from Nirmalya. The Chief Guest, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐧𝐲𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐫, Sculptor, along with her team, guided students and faculty members in crafting Eco-Friendly Ganpati idols from terracotta clay.

The workshop beautifully combined art, tradition, mental well-being, and sustainability, inspiring participants to take small but impactful steps toward protecting nature. Nearly 100 students from various departments actively participated, making the event a resounding success.
