Anti-Sexual Harassment – An Awareness of the POSH Act.

 Under the initiative of the Internal Complaint Committee, in collaboration with the Department of Business Administration, a guest lecture was conducted on “Anti-Sexual Harassment—An Awareness of the POSH Act.”

The session aimed to educate students about the key provisions and importance of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013—widely known as the POSH Act.

The insightful lecture by Adv. Shubhangi Deshmukh focused on identifying, preventing, and addressing sexual harassment in both academic and professional settings. It also highlighted the rights and responsibilities of individuals in fostering a respectful and safe work environment.

An interactive and impactful session, it successfully promoted awareness and helped strengthen the culture of dignity and safety within the institution.

🗓️ Day 1 – Foundation for Academic & Financial Awareness

We kicked off our 3-day Induction Program for FYBSc(CS) students under the NEP pattern on July 3 with a strong focus on orientation and financial literacy.

Key Highlights:

  • Faculty introduced the NEP framework, outlining its benefits and goals for holistic education.

  • Our HOD ma'am conducted a powerful session on Personality Development, emphasizing skills and attitudes for student success.

  • Dr. Meenakshi Wagh Ma'am(Associate Professor, St. Mira's College, Pune) delivered an eye-opening session on Saving & Investment, covering:

    • Budgeting & Financial Planning

    • Risk & Return

    • SMART Goals: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely

💬 “Start financial habits early — your future self will thank you.”

  • Principal, Dr. Ganesh Patare discussed the Pillars of Education, Industry 4.0 & 5.0, and global innovations including Estania’s digitalization and Denmark’s human-tech integration model.

The second day of the FYBSc(CS) Induction Program was centered on mental wellness, emotional intelligence, and student engagement session coducted by Pro. Dhanashree Ghare, Counsellor, MMCC.

💡 Mental Health Session:

  • Addressed stress, anxiety, self-doubt, and coping strategies.

  • Discussed the fear response, emotional regulation, and the importance of self-awareness.

  • Encouraged students to explore, exercise, and build emotional resilience.
    💬 “You are the judge of your quality of life.”

🎭 Prof. Meenal Kabra introduced the Cultural Department, inviting students to engage their creative side through various events and competitions.

📚 Prof. Manohar Gohane walked students through library resources, stressing the importance of utilizing academic tools effectively.

A truly impactful day reminding students that mental and emotional health are just as important as academics.

🗓️ Day 3 – Innovation & Responsibility in the Digital Age

The final day of our FYBSc(CS) Induction Program focused on technological awareness and campus ethics through a session conducted by Mr. Manish Ingale.

🌐 IOT (Internet of Things) Session:

  • Introduction to IoT and its vast applications in sectors like healthcare, agriculture, and smart cities.

  • Explored LORA, V2V, and V2X communication technologies.
    💬 “IoT isn’t just tech—it’s a tool to transform the world.”

🚫 Anti-Ragging Session by Dr. Kalpana Vaidya highlighted the importance of respect, inclusion, and campus safety.

The day closed with active student participation and strong engagement—ready to step into the future with confidence and integrity.

We are thrilled to announce that our talented students have made a remarkable contribution to the world of research by actively participating in the Student Research Paper Competition, organized by Chalisgaon Education Society, BMS, and KKC College, Chalisgaon on 2nd April 2025.

A total of three outstanding research papers, authored by six TYBCom students, have been published in the prestigious magazine (ISBN No. 978-93-5445-573-5) issued by the organizing bodies.

Gold medal in Water Polo

*Nandini Menkar* Won *Gold medal* in State level Water polo competition and Selected for India Camp.





Workshop on SQL and Object Oriented Concepts

 Knowledge Enriching Workshop on SQL and Object Oriented Concepts was organised  at  MMCOE Karvenagar from 8th May to 16th May .


 95 students SYBBA(CA) and S.Y.B.Sc.(CS)attended the  course.

The resource person Prof Nikhil Dhavase gave advance training and polished students' s concepts of SQL
  An initiative by Training and Placement division of MMCC for better placements.
