Gandhi Darshan Shibir

On 8 Oct. 2023 , Sunday, through the invitation received from Gandhi Smarak Nidhi, Maharashtra and Yuvak Kranti Dal, NSS volunteers of Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College of Commerce attended the one day Gandhi Darshan Shibir at Gandhi Bhavan, Kothrud  . The program began at 10 AM and extended till 6 PM. Total 20 NSS volunteers were registered their attendance for the event. They were provided breakfast and lunch during the occasion. Honourable Retired Justice Satyaranjan Dharmadhikari conducted the first session in which he elaborated on the Gandhian philosophy and Legal Jurisprudence. Dr. Kumar Saptarishi, Chairman of Gandhi Smarak Nidhi guided the audience about the science of Satyagraha and the methods. Dr. Shailaja Barure put some light on the comparison of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and Gandhi ideas. Prof. Sushil Gangane encouraged the students to participate in the event. 

Workshop on LGBTQ

 Department of Journalism and Mass communication had organized a workshop on : LGBTQ and Media LGBTQ Activist Mr. Bindumadhav Khire and his team with us.

Awareness program for skill development courses

An awareness program organized in two sessions for skill development courses was successfully completed with the participation of 520 students. 

The overwhelming response and interest shown made the sessions interactive and was appreciated by Mr Satyam Dudhankar, authorized trainer. 

Meri Mati Mera Desh

With reference to SPPU-NSS circular dated 3 Oct. 2023, NSS unit and SDC of MMCC have successfully conducted the event under Meri Mati Mera Desh initiative of the Govt. of India in college premises from 9 AM to 1 PM. The NSS volunteers, students, teaching & non-teaching staff members participated in the event as we have collected 300 + selfies during the occasion.

Prof. Pankaj Ghorpade & Prof. Snehal Borkar ensured the successful coordination of the event.  

 

बाळासाहेब ठाकरे करंडक राज्यस्तरीय एकांकिका स्पर्धा

शिवसेना युवा सेनातर्फे बाळासाहेब ठाकरे करंडक  राज्यस्तरीय एकांकिका स्पर्धेचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. बालगंधर्व रंगमंदिरात आयोजित स्पर्धेत 24 संघांचा सहभाग होता. ह्या स्पर्धेत आपल्या महाविद्यालयाचे कलामंडळ MMCC ART CIRCLE देखील सहभागी होते.
