 अमेय प्रकाशनाच्या वतीने प्रख्यात रेडिओलॉजिस्ट डॉ. अरुण किनरे लिखित आणि संतोष शेणई अनुवाद केलेल्या `रेडीअन्ट डेस्टिनी` या आत्मकहाणीचे प्रकाशन ज्येष्ठ अभिनेते दिलीप प्रभावळकर यांच्या हस्ते आज (रविवारी) झाले. यावेळी (डावीकडून) संतोष शेणई, डॉ. मोहन आगाशे, डॉ. जब्बार पटेल, सतीश आळेकर, डॉ. किनरे व उल्हास लाटकर उपस्थित होते. अमेय प्रकाशन निर्मित हे संतोष शेणाइंचे दुसरे अनुवादित पुस्तक. 

ही आत्मकहाणी एका डॉक्टर-पेशंटची आहे. पंचवीस वर्षांपूर्वी डॉ. किनरे यांना हार्टअटॅक आला. तेथून आजारांची मालिकाच सुरू झाली. आजवर दोन ओपन हार्ट सर्जरी, १४ एन्जिओग्राफी, पाच अन्जिओप्लास्टी, दोन पेसमेकर शस्त्रक्रिया, कर्करोग, कोलोस्टॉमी, कोलोस्टॉमी बंद करण्यासाठी पुन्हा शस्त्रक्रिया, हृदयात बुरशीजन्य संसर्ग, त्यासाठी लेझर शस्त्रक्रिया, अर्धांगवायूचा झटका, सिंकोपीचे अनेक अटॅक, डेंग्यू, त्वचारोग, किलॉइडसचा त्रास, आणखीही बरंच काही. एका आयुष्यात. वयाच्या पन्नाशीनंतर. तरीही हा माणूस हसतमुख असतो. त्यांच्यातील जिद्द व धाडस अनेकवेळा दिसून आलं. ते अजून क्लिनिकला नियमित जातात. देशापरदेशात कॉन्फरन्समध्ये सहभागी होतात. शोधनिबंध सादर करतात. अशी ही अचाट आणि अफाट कहाणी संतोष शेणाइंना अनुवाद करता आली.

Paper Presentation at the Conference on Multidisciplinary Approach to Data Analytics

Dr Swapna Kolhatkar,  Prof Nidhi Satavlekar,  Prof Yogita Renuse,  Prof Renuka Talwar attended conference on Multidisciplinary Approach to Data Analytics organized by ICFAI Business School on 14th October 2023.

Prof Yogita Renuse won second prize in paper presentation for paper titled To study the role of artificial intelligence in inventory management of hospitals in Pune city.

Dr Swapna Kolhatkar and Prof Nidhi Satavlekar as the winners of 3rd prize for paper titled Application of course knowledge for data analysis to get course attainment.

Library Staff Training

 we are implemented automated library user tracking system for the library users. Through this system all library users are able to do in & out entry in library by using barcode enabled ID-Card.

Also we are developing Institutional Repository (in- house Digital Library) by using Dspace Software for Collecting, Archiving, Preserving and Disseminating Digital Resources of the Institution. Through this repository we may Store & Disseminate all the Study Material which are in the digital form i.e. Course Notes, Audio & Video lectures, Projects,e-books,Syllabus,Question Papers and other learning objects. I express my gratitude towards college authorities for providing support for this

I am appeal to all to avail these facilities and motivate students for the same.

Mindful Parenting

On 20 th March 2023 , Department of Commerce under Teachers Forum conducted a workshop on *Mindful Parenting* by psychologist and counselor Mrs Dhanashri Ghare mam.26 teaching and non teaching staff attended the same which gave us an insight towards action and behaviour as parent with our children. It was an interactive session . Thanks to Principal sir for his support and guidance and always encouraging us to conduct sessions/ workshops .

Celebrating Women's Day

 All staff celebrated Women's Day on 11th March 2023 where all women staff were welcomed with flowers and competitions on singing and dumb charades was held for all staff. Pani puri eating competition was relished wholeheartedly. Anchoring by Dr. Ashwini Kulkarni added enthusiasm to the program.

Dr. Naresh Bodkhe, Director (Economics), Competition Commision of India, New Delhi and Chief Guest of the seminar, in his keynote address on “Incorporating Interventions of NEP 2020 in Redefining Institutional Roadmap” discussed about envisioning, defining goals, setting benchmarks, identifying bottlenecks, addressing expectations of stakeholders and preparing for autonomy;  to truly realize the essence of Atmanirbhar Bharat through the vision of NEP 2020.

The technical session by Dr. Sanjay Kharat, Principal, Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Ganeshkhind discussed “NAAC & Revised Online Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Educational Institute” and the changes in accreditation process to have transparency and accountability. 

Mr. Pradeep Lokhande, Founding member, Rural Marketing Association of India made the participants aware of the importance of experiential learning & critical thinking through his technical topic, “Reimagining Teaching Learning Evaluation in Institutional Perspective Plans”. 

The third technical session by CA Adwait Bamboli, Partner, AVB & Co, Senate member, Savitribai Phule Pune University spoke on “Reinventing New Channels for Collaborations in view of Research, Innovation and Extension Activities”. He discussed the essence of NEP 2020 and underlined the need for reinventing different pedagogies for implementation of NEP through research and social outreach programs incorporated in the institutional plans.

; addressed the participants during the valedictory function. He discussed the role of IQAC in Higher

Education Institutions for ensuring quality education through well defined systems and processes for the

implementation of best practices while envisioning NEP 2020.

Guest Lecture on REBT by Mrs. Dhanashree Ghare

 A two hour guest lecture titled 'Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy - REBT' on the occasion of Women's day ie 8th March 2023 was organized by IQAC for all teaching and non teaching women staff. The guest speaker, Mrs. Dhanashree Ghare, Counsellor guided the women on maintaining work life balance.

Guest session on "Changing Journalism & We All" by Mr. Shridhar Loni, Resident Editor, Maharashtra Times, Pune and IQAC Member on 17th December 2022 for the faculty members and students; was organized by Department of Mass Communication and Journalism. The session provided an insight into the realistic, relevant and retrospective idea of media and journalism.

Prof. Amiya Kumar Tripathi, Chair IEEE-GRSS Bombay Chapter, in his presidential address for the seminar, highlighted the applications of Remote Sensing and ample job opportunities for societal benefit. He directed the researchers to study the earth comprised of abiotic and biotic factors, through the ‘third eye in the sky’ ie. the satellite. He further mentioned about geoscience (earth, sea topography) that when used with data science will lead to analysis and modeling in case of natural disasters and preservation of ecology. His technical session on ‘Demystifying Remote Sensing and AI applications in Agriculture’ discussed the challenges in data driven analysis such as data complexity, data characteristics and complex processes. He also discussed a few case studies to understand the challenges in observation and data retrieval in the field of remote sensing.

Dr. Sangita Chaudhari, Vice Chair, IEEE GRSS Bombay Chapter & Professor, Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, discussed ‘Geospatial Intelligence: Today and Tomorrow’. She also explored the correlation between GIS and remote sensing. She also mentioned the importance of data and mechanism to generate, process such useful data for the applications for the societal benefit. Her lucid explanation of the topic through video clips made the session interactive and interesting.

Dr. Sushree Sangita Mishra, WIEA IEEE-GRSS Bombay Chapter & Associate Professor, Amity University Mumbai, detailed on ‘Spatio - temporal Drought Vulnerability Assessment using Remote Sensing, GIS and multiple time scaled indices’. She defined the term drought in terms of technological scale for assessment in a research point of view. She also discussed various agricultural drought indices for the implementation of the application model. Few case studies have been discussed to understand the research going around the globe, in the field of drought assessment using remote sensing.

Mr. Munir Mohammed, Sr. Program Manager, IEEE, spoke on ‘IEEE Standards for Academia’.

He explored the journey of IEEE and IEEE standards and the programs offered. 

The ETRS-2022 was graced by Dr. Shafiyoddin Sayyad, Convener who introduced the theme and goal of this seminar, Dr Anil Athare, Vice Principal, Principal Dr. Mohammad Illiyas, and Principal Dr. Devidas Golhar who welcomed all the resource keynote speakers, dignitaries and participants. The seminar concluded with Dr. Sandip Anpat’s narration of the essence of the seminar. This was followed with the valedictory program chaired by Mr. Munir Mohammed in the presence of all dignitaries and participants.

Today, on 28/09/2022 Wednesday, Board of Extra Mural Studies and Senior Citizens Help Club, Savitribai Phule Pune University,Pune organized District level Combined Action Session for Planning and Implementation of various lecture series for college students. On behalf of MMCC Prof. Pramod Sapkal was present for the session. At the inaugural addressed Prof.Tej Nivalikar sir delivered a memorable, informative & awesome lecture.

Two Day Workshop on ‘Preparation of SET/ NET Paper 1’

Dr. Megha Uplane, (Professor in Education, Department of Education & Extension) Chief Guest for the two day workshop on ‘Preparation of SET/ NET Paper 1’; guided all offline and online aspirants on Research Aptitude. In her discussion during the technical discussion, she made all aware of the research goals and types.

The two day workshop was graced by seven other esteemed guest speakers who guided all with their knowledge and shared their experiences. Dr. B N Waphare, (Professor, Department of Mathematics, Savitribai Phule Pune University) guided the aspirants on various Mathematical theorems, Mathematics reasoning and its intricacies. The third session on Logical Reasoning by CA Pranav Chandak (Founder of Pranav Chandak Academy, Pune) was all about syllogism and venn diagrams details. Dr. D. Tapkeer (S.N.D.T. College of Education, IASE, Maharshi Karve Vidya Vihar) enlightened on Educational Philosophy at a Glance. Dr Chitraranjan R Das, (Professor of History at Competitive Examination Center, Savitribai Phule Pune University) guided all on Teaching Aptitude and discussed a number of concepts through objective questions. Mr. Shashank Surve, (Trainer in Mathematical Aptitude & Reasoning) interacted with all for Data Interpretation through Pi Charts, Table Charts etc for interpreting graphical information. Prof. Pravin Kad (Asst. Prof. MMCC and CEC trainer), discussed the details of People Development & Environment and discussed general questions of the paper. Dr. Sandip Anpat (Head of Computer Science, CEC Coordinator & ISRO-IIRS Coordinator), guided all on Information & Communication Technology and the importance of general awareness in the field. Online aspirants interacted with guest speakers through Google Meet.

आज आपल्या महाविद्यालयात एक अनोखा कार्यक्रम पार पडला. `एम्प्लॉयी ऍप्रिसिएशन प्रोग्राम  ` म्हणजेच कर्मचारी प्रशंसा कार्यक्रम!

 `IQAC` आणि `टीचर्स फोरम` यांनी एकत्रितपणे  हा कार्यक्रम आयोजित केला होता.  

महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. देविदास गोल्हार यांनी प्राध्यापकांना प्रशंसापत्र (letter of appreciation) व एक भेटवस्तू देऊन गौरविले आणि आपले मनोगत व्यक्त केले. या वेळी प्रा. गायकवाड, प्रा. शेख, प्रा. पारखी व इतर प्राध्यापकांनी  आपले अनुभव आणि संस्थेप्रती प्रेम व आदर व्यक्त केला.  

या प्रसंगी महाविद्यालयाचे वरिष्ठ प्राध्यापक डॉ. सारंग एडके यांनी सर्वाना मोलाचे  मार्गदर्शन केले आणि आपल्या महाविद्यालयाच्या वाटचालीवर प्रकाश टाकला. 

कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन डॉ. अनपट यांनी केले आणि आभार प्रदर्शन प्रा. सुशील सरांनी केले.

हा अतिशय अनोखा कार्यक्रम असून आपल्या कामाची दखल व प्रशंसा हे अतिशय प्रेरणादायी आहे असे  उद्गार बहुतेक प्राध्यापकांनी यावेळी काढले.

सावित्रीबाई फुले पुणे विद्यापीठ School of Open Learning (Distance Education Program) अंतर्गत S.Y. B. Com च्या अभ्यासक्रमातील विपणन व्यवस्थापन (Marketing Management) या विषयावरील एकुण 08 प्रकरणाचे 238 पानांचे पुस्तक संदर्भ साहित्य म्हणून आज प्रकाशित झाले. या पुस्तकातील पहिले चार प्रकरण लिहिण्याची संधी मला मिळाली. सहलेखक प्रा. सुरेश देवढे , डॉ.पूनम साबळे-शिंदे, प्रा. शेख शोयब यांचे अनमोल सहकार्य प्राप्त झाले.डॉ. संजय कप्तान सरांनी ही बहुमूल्य संधी उपलब्ध करुन दिल्याबद्दल त्यांचे मन:पूर्वक आभार! आपल्या सर्वांचे मार्गदर्शन, प्रोत्साहन आणि सदिच्छा यामुळे हे कार्य होऊ शकले, याबद्दल आपल्या सर्वांचे मनःपूर्वक आभार.
