ЁЯМ╕ Honouring the Legacy of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule ЁЯМ╕
MMCC celebrated Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Jayanti on 3rd January 2026, paying humble tributes to the pioneer of women’s education and social reform in India.The program began with the garlanding of Savitribai Phule’s portrait by Hon. Principal Dr. Kishor Nikam, who, in his address, highlighted her courageous struggle for women’s education and her invaluable contribution to building a more equal society.
Dr. Ashwini Kulkarni shared insightful reflections on Savitribai Phule’s role in promoting social equality and emphasized the continued relevance of her thoughts and ideals in today’s times.
This activity was conducted by the NSS Department.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Principal Dr. Kishor Nikam, all Heads of Departments, library staff, teaching and non-teaching staff for their presence and support in making this tribute meaningful.
