ЁЯМ╝ Honoring the Legacy of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule

MMCC observed the death anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule on 28th November with deep respect and reflection. The program began with offering floral tributes and revisiting Phule’s lifelong dedication to education, equality, and social reform.

During the session, Dr. Sushil Gangane shared meaningful insights on Phule’s belief that progress is impossible without education. He also explained the powerful abhanga emphasizing how knowledge shapes opinion, action, and purpose.

Students and faculty were further introduced to Phule’s influential work ‘Shetkaryancha Asood’, which highlights his courageous commentary on farmers’ struggles and social injustice—a reminder of his commitment to uplift those unheard.

Heartfelt thanks to Principal Dr. Ganesh Patare Sir and NSS PO Prof. Dasharath Gavit Sir for their continuous support, to all department heads, faculty members, library staff, and attendees for their presence.

A special appreciation to Dr. Punam Shinde for excellently coordinating the program.
May Phule’s vision continue to inspire us toward building a more just, educated, and empowered society. ЁЯМ┐✨

Honouring the Spirit of the Constitution — On Campus & Beyond

MMCC celebrated Constitution Day on 26th November with great enthusiasm and pride.
The program began with the reading of the Preamble, followed by an insightful address by Dr. Sandeep Anpat, who emphasized the core constitutional values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, urging everyone to read the Constitution at least once in their lifetime.

Our NSS volunteers also actively participated in the ‘Walk for Constitution’ from Bhide Wada to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Statue, Pune Station, joining fellow students and faculty from various colleges to promote awareness and unity.

The rally was flagged off by officials from the Municipal Corporation and Social Welfare Department, making the initiative even more meaningful.

Heartfelt gratitude to Principal Dr. Ganesh Patare for his constant support, and sincere thanks to NSS PO Prof. Dasharath Gavit Sir, Dr. Poonam Shinde and Prof. Shivani Mali for coordinating both events with dedication and purpose.

A big salute to our NSS volunteers, faculty, and staff for keeping the spirit of the Constitution alive.✨
