🥗 Tri-Colour Salad Decoration Competition 🥗

The Department of Commerce proudly organised a Tri-Colour Salad Decoration Competition on 12th August 2025 to celebrate National Pride and Patriotism.

The event aimed to inspire students to embrace the spirit of independence while promoting nutrition and healthy food choices.

✨ The competition received an overwhelming response from enthusiastic students across various departments.
🎨 We were honoured to have Ms. Manjusha Wagh, artist and faculty member at MMCOA, as our esteemed judge.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Ankur Patwardhan, who currently chairs the High-Level Monitoring Committee for Eco-sensitive Zones in Mahabaleshwar–Pachgani, leads the Board of Studies in Biodiversity at SPPU, and holds key positions in several national and international biodiversity committees, while also serving as Hon. Secretary of RANWA, Pune.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to Principal Dr. Ganesh Patare for his constant support and guidance, and to our dedicated faculty members whose efforts made this event a success.

On 12th August 2025, the Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College of Commerce's Green Club was officially inaugurated for the Academic Year 2025–26.

To mark this occasion, a guest session was organised on the topic "Green Campus and Butterfly", delivered by our esteemed Chief Guest Dr. Ankur Patwardhan, associated with NGO RANWA.

Dr. Patwardhan shared insightful knowledge on the Green Audit process and the concept of a Butterfly Garden, highlighting their ecological and educational importance in building sustainable campuses. 🌱🦋

This programme was successfully organised and coordinated by the Green Club members —Asst. Prof. Renuka Talwar, Mrs. Archana Kamthe, Asst. Prof. Shaheen Mulani, Asst. Prof. Geeta Patil, and Asst. Prof. Komal Galande.

National Librarian's Day

 भारतीय ग्रंथालयशास्त्राचे जनक, ग्रंथालय चळवळीचे प्रणेते पद्मश्री डॉ.एस.आर.रंगनाथन यांच्या कार्याचा गौरव करण्यासाठी त्यांचा 12 ऑगस्ट हा जन्मदिवस दिवस राष्ट्रीय ग्रंथपाल दिन म्हणून साजरा करण्यात येतो. याचे औचित्य साधून मराठवाडा मित्र मंडळ वाणिज्य महाविद्यालय पुणे येथील ग्रंथालयामध्ये आज दिनांक 12 ऑगस्ट 2025 रोजी दुपारी 3.00 वाजता कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. गणेश पटारे यांच्या हस्ते सरस्वती पूजन करून डॉ. रंगनाथन यांच्या प्रतिमेला हार अर्पण करण्यात आला. प्रा. मनोहर गोहने, ग्रंथपाल यांनी उपस्थितांना डॉ. एस. आर. रंगनाथन यांचा जीवन परिचय करून देऊन त्यांच्या कार्याचा आढावा घेतला. डॉ. रंगनाथन यांनी लिहिलेले तसेच ग्रंथालय शास्त्राशी संबंधित ग्रंथ ग्रंथालयाच्या दर्शनी भागामध्ये प्रदर्शित करण्यात आले होते. विद्यार्थी, प्राध्यापक, प्राध्यापकेतर कर्मचारी या कार्यक्रमामध्ये सहभागी झाले होते. श्री. आनंद भवारी यांनी कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन केले. ग्रंथालयातील सर्व कर्मचाऱ्यांनी कार्यक्रमाचे नियोजन केले. प्राचार्य डॉ. गणेश पटारे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. वाचन साहित्याच्या माध्यमातून ज्ञानदानाचे कार्य करणाऱ्या ग्रंथालय व्यावसायिकांच्या कार्याचा गौरव म्हणूनही राष्ट्रीय ग्रंथपाल दिन साजरा करण्यात येतो.
