On 5th August 2025, welcomed back its proud alumnus Mr. Niranjan Medhekar for an insightful session on the evolving Podcast Industry.
In a candid and inspiring talk, Mr. Medhekar shared his transition from the world of print to the realm of podcasts, tracing how his love for writing paved the path to discovering his niche in storytelling.
HOD Mr. Santosh Shenai reflected on his journey, describing him as someone who “always had the itch to do something new, something meaningful.”
A session that reminded all that curiosity, consistency, and creative courage can truly reshape careers.

 🌿 Mega Tree Plantation Drive – Hanuman Hills, Pune 🌳

On 7th August 2025, the National Service Scheme (NSS), Students Development Cell (SDC), and the Green Club, in collaboration with Deccan Police Station, successfully organised a Mega Tree Plantation Drive at Hanuman Hills, behind Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Deccan Gymkhana.

🌱 Impact in Numbers:

🔸 232 trees planted
🔸Participation from Police Inspector Prasad Raut, 9 police personnel, 18 faculty members, and 53 NSS volunteers
🔸United efforts towards environmental sustainability 🌏

🙏 Special thanks to Principal Dr. Ganesh R. Patare and Senior Police Inspector Girisha Nimbalkar for their unwavering support and encouragement in making this green initiative a success.

On 4th August 2025, as part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations, our department proudly hosted 🎤 'Swar Bharat', a vibrant patriotic song singing competition! 🎶
The event was a beautiful testament to the power of music 🎹🥁 in evoking national pride 🫡 and unity 🤝. It brought together voices that echoed love for the nation and paid heartfelt tribute to our brave soldiers who safeguard our freedom.
We're proud to have sparked a spirit of patriotism among students while celebrating the essence of our nation's independence and unity. 🎉
👏 A big kudos to all the talented participants, dedicated organizers, and selfless volunteers who contributed to the event's success. The organizing committee truly made a lasting impact through their efforts. 🙌
