New Opportunities in Media | Day 1 Induction Program 2025

The Department of Communication & Journalism at MMCC had the honour of hosting Mr. Samrat Phadnis, Editor of Sakal, as the speaker for the first day of induction program held on 4th August 2025.
Mr. Phadnis delivered a compelling talk on the evolving landscape of media and highlighted the importance of media literacy in today’s information-driven world. From digital platforms to print industry, his insights offered a fresh lens on the emerging possibilities for aspiring media professionals.
The event was graced by Principal Dr. Ganesh Patare and Head of Department Mr. Santosh Shenai, who encouraged students to seize these opportunities with curiosity and responsibility.

📣 Department of Computer Science Organizes Successful Placement Activity Session

The Department of Computer Science successfully conducted a Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD-PI) Session as part of its ongoing Placement Activity. 👩‍💻👨‍💻

A total of 70 students actively participated, showcasing great enthusiasm and readiness. 🎯✨

The session was facilitated by Mr. Utkarsh Upadhyay, who shared valuable insights on how to excel in personal interviews, especially in the software and IT industry. 💼🧠

Students received practical tips and strategies to boost their career prospects and step into the professional world with confidence. 🚀📈

🕊️ Tribute to Lokmanya Tilak and Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe

A heartfelt tribute program was organized on 1st August 2025 at 10:30 AM in MMCC to commemorate the death anniversary of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak and the birth anniversary of Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe. 🙏

The event was graced by 🎓 Dr. Abhay Tilak (Economist) as the Guest of Honour. 🗣️ Dr. Sandip Anpat delivered an inspiring address, reflecting on the powerful legacy of these great personalities. 🌟

A soulful musical performance 🎶 of the iconic song "माझी मैना गावाकडं राहिली" by NSS students added a beautiful cultural dimension to the occasion. 🎤

The collective support of the teaching 👩‍🏫 and non-teaching staff 👨‍🔧 contributed to the smooth execution of the program. 🙌
