Resume Building Session

The Department of Computer Application successfully conducted a Resume Building Session under the Placement Activity. 👩‍💻 A total of 105 students participated with great enthusiasm. 📝 The session, conducted by Mr. Utkarsh Upadhyay, focused on building professional resumes tailored for the software and IT industry, providing valuable insights to help students enhance their career opportunities. 🚀

The resource person guided students on structuring resumes to highlight their technical skills, academic achievements and project work effectively.

The session proved to be highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and clarifying their doubts. Overall, it was a very beneficial initiative that boosted the confidence of the participants in preparing competitive resumes for their future career paths.

 लोकमान्यांचे अर्थविषयक चिंतन आजही कार्ययुक्त

शतकानंतरही भारतापुढचे प्रश्न कायम
``लोकमान्य टिळकांनी भारतीय समाजातील दारिद्र्याचे दुखणे ओळखून त्यावर सुचवलेले उपाय आजही अमलात आणण्यासारखे आहेत. भारतापुढचे प्रश्न शतकानंतरही कायम आहेत, `` याकडे प्रसिद्ध अर्थतज्ज्ञ डॉ. अभय टिळक यांनी लक्ष वेधले.
मराठवाडा मित्रमंडळ वाणिज्य महाविद्यालयाच्या वृत्तविद्या व जनसंज्ञापन विभागाच्या वतीने लोकमान्य टिळकांची पुण्यतिथी व लोकशाहीर अण्णा भाऊ साठे यांची जयंती निमित्त आयोजित केलेल्या कार्यक्रमात `लोकमान्यांचे अर्थविषयक लेखन` या विषयावर डॉ. टिळक बोलत होते. संस्थेचे कार्याध्यक्ष प्राचार्य भाऊसाहेब जाधव कार्यक्रमाच्या अध्यक्षस्थानी होते. यावेळी प्राचार्य ड़ॉ. गणेश पटारे यांनीही मनोगत व्यक्त केले.
भारतापुढच्या अनेक आर्थिक प्रश्नांचे मूळ एकोणिसाव्या शतकात आहे, याची नोंद डॉ. टिळक यांनी घेतली. ते म्हणाले, ``उत्तर पेशवाई अत्यंत हीन होती. त्याकाळी पेंढाऱ्यांकडून मोठ्या प्रमाणात लुटालूट केली गेली. त्या पार्श्वभूमीवर आलेल्या ब्रिटीश राजवटीचे येथील काही विचारवंतांनी स्वागत केले होते. पण ब्रिटिशांकडून होणारी पिळवणूक ही अधिक आहे आणि ते येथील मूळ व्यवसाय बुडवणारे आहे याकडे दादाभाई नौरोजी यांनी पहिल्यांदा लक्ष वेधले. त्यानंतरच्या काळात लोकमान्य टिळक, महात्मा फुले, लोकहितवादी देशमुख यांनी भारताचा आर्थिक दृष्टिकोनातून वेगळा विचार मांडायला सुरूवात केली. ``
लोकमान्यांनी शेतीच्या दुखण्याकडे शंभर वर्षांपूर्वी लक्ष वेधले होते. शेतीची उत्पादकता वाढवणे, शेतमालाला निश्चित अशा बाजारभावाची हमी देणे आणि शेतमालावर आधारित प्रक्रिया उद्योगांना चालना देत शेतीवरील अतिरिक्त मनुष्यबळाचा भार कमी करणे आवश्यक असल्याचे लोकमान्यांनी सांगितले होते. त्यांचा हा विचार आजही कार्ययुक्त आहे. औपचारिक शिक्षण देतानाच या समाजातील पारंपरिक कौशल्य शिक्षणाकडे दुर्लक्ष होता कामा नये, असेही लोकमान्यानी बजावले होते. औपचारिक महाविद्यालयीन शिक्षणाला धंदेवाईक शिक्षणाची जोड द्यायला हवी असे त्याकाळी लोकमान्यांनी सांगितले होते, पण त्यावेळी आपण त्याकडे दुर्लक्ष केले. आता शतकानंतर आपण त्यादृष्टीने विचार करू लागलो आहोत, असेही डॉ. टिळक यांनी सांगितले.

The TYBBACA students at Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s College of Commerce attended an enlightening session on Intellectual Property Rights, delivered by Advocate Kshitija— IP Lawyer and Registered Patent Agent.

She offered valuable insights into the fundamentals of IPR, with a special focus on Copyright laws and their relevance to students of Computer Applications.
