🎙️ Visit to Vidyawani Community Radio Station

Date: 26th June 2025

A memorable visit was undertaken by the students of Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s College of Commerce (MMCC) to the Vidyawani Community Radio Station at Savitribai Phule Pune University.

A total of 18 students were selected and divided into three teams:
🔹 One from the Commerce Faculty
🔹 One from the MAJMC Department
🔹 One from BSc (Computer Science)

Engaging radio sessions were presented by the student teams on insightful topics such as:
💡 The Advantages and Disadvantages of AI
🧠 Mental Health
📚 The Importance of Reading Books

The visit was regarded as an enriching learning experience, where communication and presentation skills were enhanced.

The students were guided throughout the session by our esteemed faculty members —

👨‍🏫 Mr. Dasharath Gavit, and
👨‍🏫 Mr. Swapnil Kamble.

Classica : Classical Dance Competition

 The Cultural Team of Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s College of Commerce (MMCC) recently organized Classica, a cultural program dedicated to celebrating India’s classical art forms. The event was a grand success, featuring a range of mesmerizing performances that showcased the depth and beauty of the country's classical traditions. 🎶🪷

Organized under the leadership of Meenal Kabra Ma’am, the program reflected meticulous planning and seamless execution. Her efforts played a key role in the smooth coordination and overall success of the event. 🌟

✈️ Career Prospects in Aviation & Hospitality

 The Department of Commerce at Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College of Commerce successfully organized a session on “Prospects in Aviation” on 25th July 2025.

The session featured Ms. Ikneet Kaur, Founder & Director of Poise Aviation International Institute, Camp Pune, as the guest speaker.

🌟Session Highlights:
🔹 Students were provided with a comprehensive overview of the aviation and hospitality industry.
🔹 Various career opportunities such as cabin crew, hotel staff, and ground personnel were introduced.
🔹 Ms. Kaur offered guidance on career pathways after 12th grade, along with insights into industry trends and success stories.

The session was well-received by students and was said to have offered them much-needed clarity on pursuing a career in this vibrant and growing sector.
