Dr. Babasaheb Jaykar Lecture Series.

 The Extra Mural Studies MMCC, in collaboration with Savitribai Phule Pune University, organizes a three-day Dr. Babasaheb Jaykar Lecture Series. 

Day 1:
For today's session, the guest speaker, Dr. Alpna Vaidya, Head of the Department and Assistant Professor at Symbiosis College, delivered a lecture and conducted an interactive activity on mind mapping at Dnyaneshwar Hall at 9:30 AM.  
The objective of the session was to introduce students to the concept of mind mapping as a powerful tool for organizing ideas, enhancing creativity, and improving learning efficiency.  
 Through interactive activities, they developed the ability to visually structure ideas, improving their comprehension and retention skills.  
More than 100 students attended the session, actively participating in the lecture and engaging enthusiastically in the mind-mapping activity. 
The guest was introduced by Aarya Agarwal a BBA student and the session concluded with a students Q&A session and vote of thanks delivered by Asst Prof Tukaram Patil Sir.
Thanks to Principal Dr. Ganesh Patare Sir for his continuous support and guidance. Thanks to all committee members, HOD, Teaching and non-teaching staff for supporting today's session.























Dr. Babasaheb Jayakar Lecture Series Feb 2025

The Extra Mural Studies Department, MMCC, in collaboration with Savitribai Phule Pune University, successfully organized a three-day Dr. Babasaheb Jayakar Lecture Series.

Day 1: February 24, 2025
Dr. Alpna Vaidya, HOD and Assistant Professor at Symbiosis College, delivered a lecture on Mind Mapping at Dnyaneshwar Hall at 9:30 AM. She conducted an interactive activity to help students organize ideas, enhance creativity, and improve learning efficiency. Over 100 students attended and actively participated. The guest was introduced by Aarya Agarwal, and the session concluded with a Q&A and a vote of thanks by Asst. Prof. Tukaram Patil.   

Day 2: February 25, 2025 
Mr. Vittal Kate, Founder of Navchaitanya Hasya Yog Parivar, conducted a session on Stress Management through Humor. The session emphasized the role of humor in reducing stress and enhancing well-being. A total of 106 students engaged enthusiastically in the lecture and activities. The guest was introduced by Dr Punam Shinde, and the session concluded with a Q&A and a vote of thanks by Asst. Prof. Vaishali Nimbalkar.  

Day 3: February 27, 2025 
Dr. Shweta Bapat, HOD, Kaveri College, delivered a guest lecture on Viksit Bharat attended by 89 students. The session provided valuable insights into the concept and encouraged active participation. Asst. Prof. Yogita Renuse introduced the guest, followed by a student Q&A and a vote of thanks by Dr. Punam Shinde.

The Department of Computer Science organized an insightful guest lecture on "The Importance of Intellectual Property Rights and Its Types" by Adv. Dhanaji Waghmare, alumni of SCLC. The session covered key aspects of IPR, including Trademarks, Patents, Copyrights, Industrial Designs, and Trade Secrets.


The session highlighted IPR’s role in innovation, business growth, and legal protection. Students gained valuable insights into securing their intellectual assets.

🙏 Special thanks to Adv. Dhanaji Waghmare for  briefing students on job opportunities in this field and different  examinations to qualify especially for science background students.

The Department of Computer Science expressed sincere gratitude to the speaker for his engaging and insightful discussion. This lecture reinforced the college’s commitment to promoting knowledge, innovation, and legal awareness among students, preparing them for future challenge

Our  students visited the *Balgram SOS Children's Village*

On the occasion of

*Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti*

to spread a message of Humanity, kindness and Social awareness and to practice the same amongst the students every year dept organises such visits.

The students  *donated  Monthly Essentials (Soaps, washing liquids, handwashes, etc)*

The students also interacted with the Assistant Director, Care Taker and the Student Counsellors at Balgram
