Street Play Competition

 Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College of Commerce (MMCC) NSS and ELC organized a Street Play Competition in collaboration with Cosmos Cooperative Bank Ltd. on Monday, January 27, 2025. Students showcased their acting talent and creativity by delivering social messages through street plays on themes such as cyber fraud, innovative banking services, and say no to drugs.  


The competition was judged by Dr. Swapna Kolhatkar, Dr. Sushil Gangane, and Dr. Kalpana Vaidya. The primary objective was to encourage students to practice scriptwriting on various societal topics while promoting social awareness.
The students wrote and performed their own scripts, delivering impactful messages. 
   This activity was conducted by NSS PO Asst. Prof. Dashrath Gavit and ELC Coordinator Dr. Punam Shinde.












Sawai Karandak

Our Art Circle Team got selected for the Final round of *Sawai Karandak* and they performed yesterday at Mumbai where Shreyas Joshi got awarded as *'Sawai Abhineta'.*

 As per the circular of the Shivajinagar Assembly Constituency, 23 NSS and ELC volunteers attended the National Voters Day program at MIT University, Kothrud, Pune.

National Voters Day

National Voters Day was celebrated at Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College of Commerce, Pune, on behalf of the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the Electoral Literacy Club (ELC).  

Dr. Ashwini Parkhi elaborated on the significance of National Voters Day and its role in empowering Indian democracy. Dr. Shilpa Kabra emphasized that the greatest right granted by democracy to its citizens is the right to vote, and the need to raise awareness among the youth about this.  
The program concluded with the Voter's Pledge.
Dr. Punam Shinde anchored the program, while Asst. Prof. Tukaram Patil delivered the vote of thanks.  
Thanks to Principal Dr. Ganesh Patare sir for his continuous support and guidance. Gratitude is also extended to Dr. Ashwini Parkhi, Dr. Ashwini Kulkarni, Asst Prof Dashrath Gavit, Asst Prof Pankaj Ghorpade and all faculty members for their support in successfully organizing the program.
