Counselors Training Course organized by the Indian Red Cross Society

Prof. Dasharath Gavit has successfully completed the Counselors Training Course organized by the Indian Red Cross Society, held at Ness Sadia College of Commerce, Pune, on Saturday, August 3, 2024. The inauguration ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Dr. Prabhakar Desai, Dean of Interdisciplinary Study at SPPU, Dr. Sadanand Bhosale, Director of NSS at SPPU, and Dr. Abhishek Kulkarni, Director of Student Development Programs at SPPU.

The training consisted of three key sessions: the first focused on school safety programs, the second emphasized the importance of first aid training and disaster management, and the third covered the roles and responsibilities of counselors along with a group discussion and timeline activity. Participants were engaged in comprehensive discussions and training on essential skills such as first aid, CPR, life-saving techniques, disaster management, carrying techniques, hygiene and sanitation, fire prevention and extinguishing, and evacuation procedures.

दिनांक 1 ऑगस्ट रोजी, लोकशाहीर अण्णाभाऊ साठे यांची जयंती आणि स्वातंत्र्य सेनानी लोकमान्य टिळ* यांची पुण्यतिथी निमित्त ग्रंथालयात कार्यक्रम आयोजित केला होता. यामध्ये महाविद्यालयातील प्राध्यापक व प्राध्यापकेतर कर्मचारी तसेच विद्यार्थी सहभागी झाले होते. डॉ. संदीप अनपट यांनी कार्याचा आढावा घेतला. महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. देविदास गोल्हार सर यांनी मोलाचे मार्गदर्शन केले. प्रा. सुशील गणगणे यांनी आभार प्रदर्शन केले. ग्रंथपाल श्री. मनोहर गोहने यांनी कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन केले.

Swara Bharat

Patriotic songs encapsulate a love for the nation and often celebrate themes like selflessness, the nation’s beauty.

A patriotic song singing competition, Swara Bharat was conducted today,31st July 2024 by department  of Computer Science.

All the participating classes showcased impressive preparation, presenting a diverse array of songs with playing of live musical instruments. The renditions evoked a profound sense of patriotism in each one present.

The competition concluded with uplifting remarks from the day’s judge, Prof.Swapnil Kamble. He noted the emotions were converyed within the lyrics well.”

Principal Sir appreciated all the participants and encouraged them for such performances. He added, melodies that touch the soul.
