Arthritis is one of the most common medical conditions in India that is affecting 15 crore people and imposing a huge health burden on society. In the next decade or so, arthritis especially knee arthritis is expected to emerge as the fourth most common cause of physical disability in all age groups in India.

Narvas: Capture the nine emotions
Department of Business Administration* had organized photography competition on the theme Narvas: Capture the nine emotions on 18th October 2023. For the competition 58 students were registered and Prof. Swapnil Kamble and Prof. Sanika Kulkarni from MAJMC were the judges of the event.
On 16th October 2023, marked a significant occasion as our Principal Dr. Devidas Golhar Sir, Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College of Commerce signed an MOU with the District Election Office and the Worship Earth Foundation. This event featured the presence of notable figures such as Mr. Shrikant Deshpande, Additional Chief Secretary & Chief Electoral Officer, Maharashtra; Mr. Rajesh Deshmukh, District Collector & District Electoral Officer, Pune; Mr. Parag Mate, Founder of Worship Earth Foundation; Ms. Minal Kalaskar, Deputy District Election Officer, Pune; Mrs. Archana Tambe, Deputy Collector SWEEP; Mr. Tejas Gujarathi, MD & CEO of Worship Earth Foundation; and Mr. Sunil Patil, Director of Spectrum Academy. Additionally, esteemed principals, deans, professors, and campus ambassador from the institution attended the program. This partnership, marked by the signing of an MOU, is a major step towards promoting awareness about elections and empowering the younger generation to become informed voters.
Kalash Decoration Competition
On 16th October 2023, the Department of Commerce had organised “ Kalash Decoration Competition “ under the theme “ Meri Maati Mera Desh” . Students participated in large numbers. In all 67 groups registered and participated. Only earthen pots were permitted to be decorated. All the students had decorated their Kalash beautifully using intricate designs and decoration materials. The event showcased the creativity of our students.
