Indian Knowledge System Exhibition


The IKS Exhibition, which was organized by all FYBSc students of the academic year 2025–26 under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Vaishali Nimbalkar, was reported to be a resounding success. The event had taken place on August 4, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Hall No. 6.

Highlights of the Exhibition:

Eight Groups Participated: It was reported that eight groups had participated in the exhibition, each focusing on a different aspect of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), including:

Excellent Presentations: Each group was said to have presented their skills and showcased models effectively, demonstrating a deep understanding of their topics. The presentations were described as engaging, informative, and well-received by the audience.

Interactive Sessions: The students had actively interacted with teachers and other attendees, sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for IKS.

✨ The exhibition received heartfelt appreciation from Hon. Executive President, Prin. B. G. Jadhav, and Dr. Ganesh Patare, who acknowledged the sincere efforts of the students and faculty. Their words of encouragement inspired everyone to continue organizing such initiatives that promote the Indian Knowledge System and preserve our rich cultural heritage.

New Opportunities in Media | Day 1 Induction Program 2025


The Department of Communication & Journalism at MMCC had the honour of hosting Mr. Samrat Phadnis, Editor of Sakal, as the speaker for the first day of induction program held on 4th August 2025.
Mr. Phadnis delivered a compelling talk on the evolving landscape of media and highlighted the importance of media literacy in today’s information-driven world. From digital platforms to print industry, his insights offered a fresh lens on the emerging possibilities for aspiring media professionals.
The event was graced by Principal Dr. Ganesh Patare and Head of Department Mr. Santosh Shenai, who encouraged students to seize these opportunities with curiosity and responsibility.
