"Breaking out of your Shell" by Entrepreneurship Development Cell

 Entrepreneurship Development Cell of our college has successfully conducted a one day workshop on the theme "Breaking out of your Shell" in collaboration with SPPU Research Park Foundation on 1st November 2023

Dr Arvind Shaligram (CEO, SPPU Research Park Foundation) along with Hon. Jadhav sir, Executive President of our institution has graced the occasion. Both shared pearls of wisdom on this inaugural ceremony.

We have received overwhelming response from students for this workshop. 125 + students from 21 different colleges in pune city have participated in this workshop.

The resource persons who have delivered their sessions are

Soap making workshop

 The Student Development Committee of MMCC, Pune had organized a soap making workshop on 8-11-2023, Wednesday at Student Forum for the students aligned with the Diwali festivities. Prof. Gurmeet Kaur, entrepreneur of her own hand made soap brand Nikhaar, had honoured the workshop as a resource person, efficiently conducting the workshop making it a fun-filled and  informative activity for the students who had participated in a huge number of whopping 50+. The workshop was a success because of the efforts of all the members and volunteers of SDC as well as the SDC coordinator Prof. Snehal Borkar. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks given by Prof. Swapnil Kamble.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Women Empowerment, and Higher Education

 The Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, in collaboration with Savitribai Phule Pune University, organized a one-day State-Level Women Empowerment Conference on October 23. The event, titled "United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Women Empowerment, and Higher Education," was attended by more than 1,300 women professors from various colleges in the state of Maharashtra. The conference took place at Savitribai Phule Pune University and was graced by the presence of Mr. Chandrakant Patil, Minister of Higher and Technical Education of Maharashtra, and Dr Neelam Gorhe, Deputy Chairperson of the Maharashtra Legislative Council.

The conference comprised six sessions during the day, where experts from various fields provided guidance to the women teachers. Informative discussions covered topics such as the National Education Policy (NEP), Women's Security, Women Empowerment, Women Entrepreneurship, and Sustainable Development. Dr. Punam Shinde , Asst. Prof. Roshni Gupta, Asst. Prof. Vishakha Wagh , Dr. Pranita Raskar and Asst. Prof. Rushika Kinjawadekar attended this program.
